Farmers Kitchen Basket

Edible Goose Creek Producers

Share Supporting Member Price Regular Share Price
Single $300 $360

Farmers Kitchen Basket features a sample of our farms’ offerings along with meal inspirations and recipes. Use our inspiration or go your own way in the kitchen. Either way your family will enjoy a delicious taste of what is fresh and in season on the farms of Edible Goose Creek. Each basket will contain ingredients for a 4-person meal, with leftovers.

In spring when eggs are plentiful we eat lots of omelettes, frittatas and quiches, adding seasonal extras like mushrooms, microgreens or wild harvested chickweed and wild chives. In summer when the chicken harvest is in full swing we feast on chicken breasts with juicy tomatoes and fresh shiitakes in herbal vinegar sauces. When we need a quick local meal we slice fresh peppers, onions, and oyster mushrooms oven roasted with italian sausages. Fall has us thinking about hearty stews and soups - like noodle bowls with warm, bubbling bone broth, garden fresh radishes, microgreens and pan-seared slices of chicken or pork. This is just an example of what you might experience with the monthly Farmers Kitchen Basket.
